The first issue of Outhouse!
Selene Latrine's Outhouse Zine is over-the-top, bombastic, fun, and eschews conventional separations of art forms. It is the culmination of Selene's long-held dream of merging two favorite art forms: zines and drag. Each zine contains artwork (essays, song lyrics, comics, collage) by local Portland, Oregon drag artists reflecting on a theme. Each issue wraps with an epic release party where each contributor has an opportunity to add performance elements to their piece.
The theme for the first issue is ARMS & LEGS!
OH #1 was released in September, 2023 at Black Water Bar in Portland, Oregon.
